The city of Leon is located in the Northwest of the Iberian peninsula, between the plateau of Castille, the Cantabric mountains and Galicia.
From Madrid, by car, bus, train or plane, the journey is fast and sure, with many daily connections. By car, taking the A-6 Highway, from Madrid to Benavente, and, then, the A-66, Leon is reached in about 3 hours and 10 minutes (333 km from Madrid).
The airport of Leon (code LEN) is located in La Virgen del Camino, only 7 km far from Leon. The trip by taxi to the town takes about 10 minutes (12 €). Nowadays, there are two flights from/to Madrid and from/to Barcelona everyday.
The Campus de Vegazana is in the northern side of the city of Leon. The Symposium will be held in the Escuela de Ingenierías Industrial e Informática.
